The Gridiron Grill-Off is a food, wine and tailgate festival that benefits several children’s charities like 4KIDS (helping foster kids find loving homes) and HOPE South Florida (serves homeless families by providing housing, mentoring and assistance to renew broken families and restore lives). The event paired 24 former Miami Dolphin football greats with local South Florida chefs in a grilling competition. Some of the players included Zach Thomas, Jay Fiedler, Mercury Morris and Mark Duper just to name a few. The event was conceived and put together by former Miami Dolphin All-Pro Linebaker John Offerdahl.
